Nothing to see here...

May 25th, 2010. Due to a technological security breach, the battle transmissions from the Darger's inaugural, 2010 invasion of Chicagoland were jammed, and nothing but the final, futile gunshots were witnessed by the time a secure line of communication had been reestablished. According to wire reports, however, nothing was missed. In a classic duel, the gunfighters of each army were brilliant, holding their respective opponents in check without much bloodshed. In the end, No.22 and the Darger security forces were reportedly undermined by the multiple mishaps of their own field legionary, No.15, who was back in duty for the first time since recovering from his wounding in action two weeks ago. His mishandling of strategic information laid the groundwork for the Darger  defeat. Poor reconnaissance work also played a part.
